I think Lynda is a fantastic physiotherapist. She is knowledgeable, friendly and has helped me when others have not been able to. She doesn’t ask you to keep coming back unless she really thinks you need to. I trust her completely and recommend her to my friends.

I had a fantastic experience with Lynda at the Physio Room. Booking in was super easy and Lynda took the time to understand what was happening for me, and provided really pragmatic advice that resulted in really fast recovery for my injury.

Lynda’s care and professionalism is second to none. She made sure treatment is tailored to me and followed up with detailed notes so I could do them at home. It’s very hard to find a good physio in Melbourne. I would highly recommend Lynda and The Physio Room to anyone.

Before you come in

Something else? Ask us below, or:

Do I need a referral?

Not for private physio, TAC or WorkCover. If your doctor has written one, bring it along, as it will have useful information. DVA funded appointments do need a referral from a GP, specialist or hospital.

Can I join a Pilates class straight away?

Classes come after a clinical exercise assessment, and most people do one or two individual sessions first so their program is ready. Then you can book a class of three or a 2:1 with a friend.

What should I wear or bring?

Loose, comfortable clothing that lets us get to the area we are treating. Bring any referrals and test results. For classes, bring grip socks and water. For a bike fit, bring your clean bike, your shoes and your usual kit.

What happens at a first physio appointment?

We start with a chat about your problem and your daily life, then a series of physical tests to find the cause. We explain what we found, agree a plan with you and usually start treatment the same day.
